Once you accept the quote, the dispatcher confirms:
- Pickup address (driveway, garage, parking lot, acreage, impound)
- Day and a time window — typically a two-hour morning, afternoon, or evening band so you're not waiting all day
- An ETA confirmation call from the driver ahead of arrival, so you know when to expect them
- Access notes — keys available, wheels attached, anything blocking the vehicle
- Who will be on-site to hand over the vehicle and sign the Bill of Sale
If something comes up and your window no longer works, rescheduling is straightforward — call back and the dispatcher will move it to the next available slot that fits your day. Same-day Calgary pickups depend on driver availability when you call, but a scheduled window almost always holds.

Pickup and signed Alberta Bill of Sale
The driver brings the Alberta Bill of Sale to every pickup. At pickup, the driver:
- Walks around the vehicle to confirm it matches the phone description
- Fills out the Bill of Sale with your details, the vehicle's VIN, and the agreed price
- Both parties sign — you keep one copy, Eagle keeps the other
- Photographs the underside and converter status as standard intake documentation
The quote agreed on the phone is the price written on the Bill of Sale — as long as the vehicle matches its description.
If the vehicle is materially different from what was described
If the driver arrives and the vehicle is materially different from what was described — the engine has been pulled, additional damage is present, or a catalytic converter described as attached is gone — the quote may be revised at pickup. The driver will explain the specific reason and the new number.
At that point, you have two choices: accept the revised quote and sign the Bill of Sale, or decline the sale entirely. If you decline, there's no charge — the driver leaves, the vehicle stays, and you keep your time. No pressure, no surprise tow fee, no deduction.
A buyer who never revises a quote at pickup is either absorbing losses on misdescribed vehicles or quietly deducting "tow fees" or "processing fees" after the fact. Eagle does neither — the revision is transparent, the choice is yours, and the working number is the one on the phone.

Mention e-transfer or cheque on the quote call if you'd rather not handle cash — the driver will know what to bring.
Then the tow:

Eagle Cash For Cars buys whole vehicles. After we pick up your vehicle, we resell it whole — with documentation — through Alberta automotive recycling and salvage channels. Eagle handles the buying, paperwork, and pickup. The dismantling and material processing is done by recycling operators under their own provincial certifications.

What you should do before and after
Before the driver arrives
- Remove personal items from the glove box, console, trunk, and under the seats
- Take the licence plates off the vehicle — in Alberta, plates stay with the owner, not the vehicle
- Locate the registration (or a registry-issued replacement if it's lost)
- Set the keys aside, if you have them — Eagle still buys vehicles without keys
After the driver leaves
- Cancel the insurance policy on that vehicle (or transfer it if you're replacing the car)
- Keep your copy of the signed Bill of Sale somewhere safe — you may need it for the registry or your insurance company
- Update your account if the vehicle was on a recurring auto-pay (parking pass, fuel card, registry alerts)

Often, yes — same-day pickup is common in Calgary and the four nearby Tier A communities (Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, High River) when the vehicle is accessible and you accept the quote during business hours. For outer communities, we'll schedule pickup around your availability — usually within a few days, sometimes sooner. Cash for cars is rarely an emergency, so we'd rather get it right than rush.
Yes. In Alberta, vehicle registration is held by the owner and can be replaced at any Registry Agent — bring photo ID and the VIN, and they'll issue a current copy. An expired registration doesn't block the sale: the Bill of Sale, ID, and ownership history are what matters. If the vehicle was inherited or the registered owner is deceased, mention that on the quote call so the dispatcher can walk through what additional paperwork (estate documents) will be needed.

Yes, with one extra step: the impound lot will require proof of ownership before releasing the vehicle to the tow driver. Bring your registration (or a Registry Agent–issued replacement) and government-issued photo ID. Some lots charge accumulated storage fees that the owner is responsible for clearing before release — that's between you and the lot, separate from Eagle's quote. Once paperwork clears, the pickup itself works the same way.
